Expiration Date Merge Tag

Micah Jelovich -

When you incentivize customers to join your campaign, you will have to send them some offer after they've joined the campaign. To do this, you'll schedule a message to be sent after they opt-in. We recommend this offer that new subscribers receive after opting in has an expiration date, so we've create an expiration date merge tag, which you place in your after opt-in message. By using this expiration date merge tag, it will allow you to set your after opt-in message and forget it, as the expiration date displayed to new subscribers will be automatically generated, and adjusted each day based on the parameters you set.

Instructions

  1. When creating a scheduled message to new subscribers after they've opted-in, use one of the following merge tags in your message.
  2. That's it, finish your message as you normally would, then send/schedule/save.
Merge Tag Example Description
{DTE} {DTE} Displays date message is received on.
{D##) {D03}, {D12}

Displays date ## days after message is received.
