How does STOP work for transactional messaging?

Ashley Parks -

If a customer is sent a message through the transactional API, and they reply STOP to that message, you will no longer be able to message that customer through the transactional API with your specific transactional ID. If a customer is receiving messages from two different transactional ID's through the transactional messaging API, and they respond STOP, only the most recent Transactional ID will be blocked from messaging that specific customer.

If a customer is receiving messages from the transactional messaging API, and from a campaign, and they reply STOP, only the most recent type of message from the transactional messaging API or the campaign will be blocked from messaging that specific customer.
